Costa Rica - 2021
While on a spontaneous trip to the magical jungles of Costa Rica, we tried our first hanging chairs.
We fell in love with the concept and decided to create our own.
The OG: Wrapped and Weaved
It took us 3 months to design and build the first two Cloud Chairs, which were only meant for us.
After urges from friends and family, we started making chairs for other people and turned it into a business. The original hanging chairs were wrapped and weaved with a synthetic wicker.
5th Generation of The Cloud Chair - 2024
After 3 years of going to home shows and festivals, an estimated 30,000 people have sat in our hanging chairs.
Some have become customers, and some close friends, all of which gave us feedback.
We've modified and improved the Cloud Chair to the point where we are on the 5th generation.
We can confidently say that the chair you're receiving today is the version that has been tested and is loved by hundreds of happy customers.
